Have to wait and see of any real concrete news plus more actual in-game videos before passing judgement., but is looking good for now...
Even though Sony is going to shortchange us here in Australia for not releasing their 160GB PS3 instead we'll get the 80GB ( what a bummer... ), I still think that yes, 2009 will be a good year for the PS3 - Can't wait for the Full Version GranTurismo 5.
Have downloaded watched and deleted the game trailer off the PS Store and must say it's quite good., but will pass more credible comment/judgement once any actual in-game footage comes-out over the net...
Never had any issues concerning charge times on my ps3 control pads, same as above just use usb chords., think this is just another marketing con add-on.
For the all important point in versatility it's still the G25 that takes the benchmark points, and add to that sturdy build quality/mid-price affordability.
I was almost going to wait and buy the new Driving Force GT ( which is a very good game wheel, and is also better priced but is not as well built ) but am thankful that I did'nt and decided to get the G25 instead.
On the plus side, this 911 wheel does have an advantage of going wireless and for those Porsche gamers' who...
I really feel bad that Sony will not be releasing their 160GB and instead just the half of it *80GB over here in Australia... what a bummer another value lost.
I knew it, I knew it... just like in the demo version, the dreaded and very limited camera moves would cause a big problem and will be a big factor in buying this game.
The full and the cut into 3 episodic parts but slightly expensive game which is only going to be available on the PS Store is such a *terrible idea - as you won't be able to test trial like if it was available in blu-ray disc format thru you're favorite video shops for renting.
Some games are just meant to be...
Only available as download in full or in parts game content over the Australian PS Store which I really don't agree.
What if I want to test the full game first or maybe want to rent it out from my video rental shop? ( the demo - I don't mind as it does'nt take a ot of space )
Just a thought --- hope Sony can implement an additional feature in the main *start race menu ( start race, change vehicle settings, end race ) were you would be able to change vehicles without going back to the main start-up menu options which take a lot of time... and put this in the full version GT5 as well.
Can't wait how Sony/Polyphony will deal with the look and feel of damage-mode once it becomes standard in the series for the very first time in the history of GranTurismo., ...
Can't fault about the look and feel of this game, but with all honesty the eyes ( to which most reviewers' and readers' rave so much about ) definitely show no emotion at all ( in close-ups ) - it just stares into nothingness as most CGI characters in all sorts of format ( games, commercials, movies ) still do.
As I could'nt get enough from playing Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, might have to buy me this latest Tomb Raider once it gets released.
Last time I thoroughly enjoyed playing Tomb Raider series was in the PS1 days. This one looks to have greatly improved in all areas.
Lousy gamer, but actual game does look very promising with nice graphics.
The game does look awesome and can't wait for it's release, just don't focus on the eyes which I believe still does'nt show any emotion at all. Honestly, look at it.
Just as long as they don't focus specifically on the eyes which "still" don't seem to show no emotion at all everything looks great.
You'll get two different sets of comments whether they are still pictures ( screenshots ) or moving ( in-game trailer ) to which this actually is and not in-game footage.
I believe there will be no more movie franchise... but she does look hot for a former gymnast
Whoa there! Yikes!
Have'nt been reading much about Heavy Rain which does look very good ( with the more updated second video showing - { with the close-up shot of her face } ), but just have to say with the "first" video sampling to which they said was made 2 years ago that the character did'nt really shine so much for me, in fact it was'nt a convincing footage at all.
Did'nt you notice she talked in a sort of goofy-funny voice that does'nt match the character, plus if you look closely there ...
I seriously hope they could fix the "ramming" incident feature ( off-line and on-line ), especially as the rule governing this feature in the game is outright wrong.
You get penalized when the car "behind" you is the one who is at fault.
Besides that the game and the features in it are truly awesome.
Love the videos that they put on GT-TV.
A very enjoyable game indeed, will be awaiting the next installment.
Pure fiction this one., but do hope they implement it on the next XBox unless some newer/better tech comes along...
